The European arm of a US owner operator of Hyperscale Data Centres is looking for a Technical Account Manager. This permanent role has been created to support the launch and rapid expansion of the business across Europe - this growth is in part due to acquisition and in part due to new site builds. The role can be London or South Wales based (with some level of home working).
The Role
As a Technical Account Manager, you'll establish and maintain customer relationships and satisfaction. You'll be the interface for the customer to ensure their needs are met right from the moment they sign the contract. Day to day activities and requests may include project support, construction revies, onboarding, data module fit out coordination, customer audits, performance reporting and customer tooling. Alongside customer relationships it'll, also, be vitally important for you to build great internal relations across the business to ensure a smooth transition from initial contract through to live operations.

To succeed in the role of Technical Account Manager you'll need to have experience of a similar role (or one with very transferable skills). Industry wise data centre experience would be ideal but other critical infrastructure industries would be considered. You'll also need to have some understanding of engineering (UPS systems, generators etc) and any experience of ITIL based service management and / or contract management / RFPs would certainly hold you in good stead.
