Job Title: Cost Engineer
Location: Barrow - hybrid working
Salary: £55,000 - £60,000
A leader in the Defence sector is looking for a Cost Engineer to work on site in Barrow as part of their team. This is a hybrid working role and is a great opportunity to work for a global organisation.
The Role
As a Cost Engineer, you'll be responsible for forecasting the cost of projects based on past knowledge and industry research and adjusting estimations and outcomes based on changing requirements. In addition, you'll be contributing to time allocation and management of project schedules and anticipating potential risks and devising solutions to prevent them.
The Person
To be successful in this role, you'll need to have experience of a similar role within an engineering organisation using P6. In addition, this role will require good stakeholder management skills and the ability to manage new challenges. Experience within the Defence sector would be looked upon favourably.
The Package
As a Cost Engineer, you'll be on a salary of up to £60,000 (DOE) and the role is available on a hybrid working arrangement. In addition, there's other non-tangible benefits such as pension, other work schemes and commitment to your development, both in terms of your skills and career progression.
