A truly innovative data centre operator with over 100 sites across Europe is looking for a Construction Director. This permanent role has been created to support the next stage of the company's growth and can be London or Amsterdam based.

The Role

As their Construction Director you'll be responsible for managing a team of contractors to deliver project safely, on time and to a high quality. You'll also have responsibility for implementing new and innovative techniques to reduce their operational footprint. The programme of works will include multiple live projects across Europe at any one time - you'll be involved with the full life cycle of the project from feasibility through to commissioning and handover.

To succeed in the role of Construction Director it's imperative that you have experience of a similar role working on large and complex projects within a business-critical environment such as data centres, pharmaceuticals, utilities etc. You'll need to have both construction and commissioning experience. This commissioning experience will have included M&E systems. Any experience of pre-fabrication and modulization would certainly hold you in good stead.
