One of the roles focuses on the preconstruction / tendering phase and the other the construction phase.
To succeed in one of these roles you'll have a good knowledge of Revit MEP (and, ideally, Navisworks) along with a good knowledge of BIM. Any experience of DfMA would certainly hold you in good stead.
