A rapidly growing supplier of special purpose machinery to the nuclear sector is looking for a Proposal Engineer / Tender Manager to join their growing team. The business has experience on every licenced nuclear site in the UK and is involved in projects from design concept right through to manufacturing and subsequent commissioning.
Your key responsibility will be to prepare winning bids and take ownership of the end to end bid process including managing an opportunity from qualification through to contract award. This will include strategy development, solution development, commercial considerations, partner / sub-contractor identification and risk management. Bids range in value from a few thousands to £1m+
To succeed in the role of Proposal Engineer / Tender Manager it's essential that you have experience of a similar role in an engineering business - this experience will ideally be complemented with hands on engineering knowledge.
As a Proposal Engineer / Tender Manager within this business, you'll receive a salary of up to £60,000 and other benefits including pension (6% employer contribution), private medical insurance and 25 days' (plus bank holidays). In addition, the company is committed to both training and development along with career progression.
