The Role
Within the role of Assistant Project Accountant, you’ll be responsible for:
Supporting in preparing regular and ad-hoc financial reports.
Completing reconciliation models for the order book, sales trading and other project accounting requirements.
Producing debtor reports for issue and discussion with the wider project team.
In addition, you’ll also support in producing financial forecasts and carry out regular tasks to meet management needs.
You
To succeed within the role of Assistant Project Accountant, you’ll have experience in a similar position, and you’ll ideally have the following skills:
The ability to communicate financial information legibly and succinctly to individuals and groups.
Analytical skills and knowledge of relevant analytical techniques.
Good IT and spreadsheet skills.
In addition, any knowledge of software financial packages would also be an advantage.
