An engineering company that provides high-end engineering products and services is looking for an Aerospace Sales Manager to join their growing team. The company provides consultancy services / technical expertise in its specialist areas such as flight sciences and modelling & simulation along with designing and developing products for their markets, which include aerospace and marine. The business is based in Bristol so, ideally, you'd live close enough to get to Bristol at least once a week but further afield may be considered for an ideal candidate.
As their Aerospace Sales Manager you'll be responsible for leading their eVTOL and aerospace business development activities in both established and emerging markets worldwide. At least to start with, the role will be much more a "Hunter" (90%) than a "Farmer" (10%) so you'll be focused on identifying new market opportunities, profiling customer needs and then developing sales campaigns and value propositions.
To succeed in this role it's essential that you have experience of a similar new business sales focused role within either civil or military aerospace. Ideally, you'd have experience of a mix of consultancy and product sales but the company can be flexible if, for example, your experience is all product sales within aerospace. Any engineering experience would certainly hold you in good stead.
