Due to a drive for greater success, this advanced manufacturing business is currently searching for a Production Controller to add to their talented, hardworking team in Cowes on an initial 9 month contract. Striving for innovation and creativity you can ensure no two days will be the same. This role will be offering £36.34 per hour travel per hour inside IR35 / Umbrella

The Role:

  • Participate in Contract Launch Process, driven by Projects and only held depending on value
  • Achieve the timely release of Production / Repair Orders
  • Use the MES to view Production / Repair Orders
  • Review and action MRP Error Exceptions Messages and data hygiene reoprts
  • Support Production Reviews
  • Support the Engineering Change Process and Non-Conformance process

Skills

§ Be PC literate and competent with Microsoft Excel and able to use an ERP system (preferred SAP) without supervision to undertake the planning role.

§ Self-manage and motivate to identify and deliver tasks within acceptable timeframes with minimal guidance and supervision

§ Be able to support other team members

Knowledge

§ Knowledge of manufacturing environment.

§ Knowledge of planning and control processes.

§ Hold awareness of general H&S/Environmental regulations and safe working practices

§ Have a comprehensive understanding and knowledge of the repair and prime production processes

Experience

  • HNC/Certificate in Project or Construction Management or equivalent level of qualification
  • LCM Awareness
  • Health and Safety management training, for example NEBOSH
