As a Licenced Aircraft Engineer you'll have a role that's out of the ordinary helping us to support our customers' requirements
The successful candidate will be responsible for the generation and release to service of serviceable and safe aircraft in accordance with civilian legislation/regulations.
You will be responsible for:
- Ensuring aircraft engineering, line and depth maintenance and all other engineering related activities and services are provided as required to always meet and exceed customer expectations and contractual needs.
- Coordinating all Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) part 145 paperwork.
This role is predominantly Monday - Friday day shift and will be based at on site at RAF Leeming.
You will have:
- EASA/CAA Part 66, B1.2 license
- Specific technical knowledge
- Sound understanding of partnering and alliance between customer and contract
- Ability to demonstrate practical and theoretical standards required
- Composite materials experience
- Knowledge of MoD Engineering procedures/documentation (desirable)
- Knowledge on propeller aircraft (desirable)
