As an Aircraft Technician you'll have a role that's truly out of the ordinary. This is an exciting opportunity to join a well-established contract providing class leading support to the UK Ministry of Defence. The role is an interesting, dynamic and rewarding one which will utilise your specialist skills whilst operating within a small team supporting the vision and importance of a much bigger International organisation.

The ideal candidate will assist in the ground movement of aircraft and be key part of their flight-line operations, including the preparation of aircraft for the upcoming days flying, conducting see-in and see-off procedures as well as being authorised to carry out fuel and oil replenishment on the aircraft.

This role is full time and based onsite at Yeovilton, however the company may on occasion, ask you to deploy to other sites or support detachments at other operating locations.

You will be responsible for:

  • Undertaking scheduled and corrective maintenance and completing all documentation in accordance with current legislation and company procedures.
  • General additional duties as required, including (but not limited to), driving, stores duties, housekeeping and other responsibilities as allocated by the LAE or SOM.

You will have:

  • Aircraft engineering experience.
  • Recognised Aircraft Apprenticeship, military experience or NVQ level 3 or equivalent
  • Ability to demonstrate practical and theoretical standards required
  • Driving Licence
