Due to continued investment, this leading-edge manufacturing business is currently in the midst of a huge recruitment drive and is looking for a Remote Working Senior Verification and Certification Engineer (Outside IR35) to join their growing team on a 6 month contract.

The Role

Within the role of Senior Verification and Certification Engineer, you'll be responsible for:

  • Author of the Propulsion System requirements document
  • Plan and manage the activities required to capture requirements and drive them through all stages of the requirements lifecycle
  • Write & manage requirements in Polarion, ensure high quality & process-compliance of requirements and associated documentation

In addition, you'll also coordinate with all stakeholders within the propulsion team and other teams to capture and flow down requirements and together with specialists, identify means of validation and verification of requirements.


You

To succeed within the role of Senior Verification and Certification Engineer, you'll have experience in a similar position, and you'll ideally have the following skills:

  • Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in the aerospace industry is required
  • Experience in managing requirements in an aerospace context and experience with a requirement management software e.g. Polarion, DOORS is required
  • Proven experience with the certification of propulsion, turbomachinery, composite structures, electric machines & electronics (HW/SW)

In addition, excellent understanding of certification specifications (EASA & FAA) and experience with a complete certification program from concept development to type design approval will be helpful.
