A leading defence and aerospace organisation based in Oldham is entering an exciting phase of growth and development, following project extensions and wins.
They are looking to recruit an experienced Systems Engineers (DOORS) to join them on a permanent basis.
As a Systems Engineer you'll support the systems engineering group, providing input into the requirements engineering, design lifecycle, validation and verification of surface ship design and system interfaces. You'll manage the traceability of requirements through DOORS and work with customers on specifications and technical documentation. You will work closely with the Principal Engineer and Management team on high profile and value contracts. For Principal and Management roles you will be involved in full lifecycle and team leadership.
Ideally you'll have held a similar Systems Engineering role with experience in systems design and development of complex hardware and software systems. Knowledge of the V-model/ cycle and an understanding of the design processes would hold you in good stead. Experience with DOORS would be beneficial. Familiarity with rotary or airborne platforms would be advantageous.
