Senior Operational Excellence Manager - 6 Month Contract - Filton or Frimley - £93.37 an hour Umbrella Inside IR35
This is a great opportunity to join one of the UKs leading Defence organisations based in Frimley or Filton.
The purpose of the Senior Operational Excellence (OpEx) Manager role is to develop, implement and govern capable OpEx resource that can meet business improvement requirements aimed at delivering tangible Safety, Quality, and Cost business benefit supported through the deployment of systems eight core behaviours.
As a Senior OpEx Manager, you will be responsible for the management and leadership of projects, process or teams that provide both bottom line business benefit and build a cohesive improvement capacity and capability managed through both systems and people measured through to EAC / IBP.
Skills Required:-
- Training, Coaching & Mentoring LSS methodology (or equivalent)
- Management Experience
- Value Management /Cost Management
- Transformation Programme Experience
- Project management
- LSS Black Belt Qualified / BB training delivery (or equivalent)
- Working towards LSS MBB (or equivalent)
- Lean Methodology
- Business Process Improvement Experience
- Ideally Agile Experience
Qualifications:
- Ideally degree qualified to Masters level or equivalent experience
- Preferably Manufacturing / Mechanical Engineering Degree
- Six Sigma Qualified (Black Belt) (or equivalent experience/training)
- ITAR, PSA, CA and NNPPI security clearance as required for specific duties.
