An exciting opportunity for a Project Manager to join an established, expanding electro-optics specialist with a Global footprint.
My client is a Leading Design & Manufacturing business, with several sites across the UK, supporting solutions within the Aerospace & Defence sector.
The successful Project Manager will be responsible for managing the execution of assigned projects, the overall engineering development efforts, contract deliverables and contract milestones and cash-flow in regard to cost, time, quality, technical performance and to manage critical communications and decisions with key stakeholders inside and outside the business.
You will be responsible for:
- Ensuring new projects assigned are launched with due diligence
- Managing communications where delegated with all stakeholders
- Taking responsibility for capturing and communicating their requirements and managing their expectations and engagement
- Managing delivery against key PM documents
- Liaising with project team engineering leads.
- Working with Finance Management and Project Finance Analysts to prepare and update monthly projects reports
You will have:
- A basic understanding / some experience within project management
- A working knowledge of all engineering / development processes
- Background within Defence engineering (desirable)
- Background within electronics (desirable)
