PM&C Manager (Planning) - Barrow in Furness - 6 Month Contract - £62.26 an hour Umbrella Inside IR35
This is a great opportunity to work within one of the UKs leading Defence organisations based in Barrow in Furness
Responsibilities:
- Leading the development of programme level schedules for the Build and Commissioning stages of the programme.
- Ensuring these schedules are structured to enable effective integration into an Integrated Master Schedule for the programme.
- Providing expertise in project planning, monitoring and control tools, techniques and procedures to the programme leadership.
- Developing and growing the capability of the programme planning team to enable it to support the current and future needs of the programme.
- Working cross-functionally across the Project Controls functional teams to generate a coherent position on programme performance, issues and options
Experience required:-
- Demonstrable, specific skills and experience in Planning, ideally in a complex programme environment
- Strong analytical, problem solving and reporting skills to deliver precise insight on programme performance
- Strong collaborative behaviours and stakeholder management skills in a complex network (multi-site/multi-company/multi-functional)
- Proven ability to influence and facilitate debates and decisions with diverse stakeholder groups
- Knowledge of Planning & Scheduling Governance
- Proven experience of building, developing and leading a high performing team
- A Degree in Project Management or equivalent industry experience
- APM Project Management Qualification or equivalent
