A rapidly growing supplier of special purpose machinery to the nuclear sector is looking for a Management Accountant - this is a brand-new position due to continued growth. The business has experience on every licenced nuclear site in the UK and is involved in projects from design concept right through to manufacturing and subsequent commissioning.

The Role

As their Management Accountant you'll support the FD and take responsibility for all areas of nominal / general ledger accounting including financial and management accounting. This will include journals, FX trading, banking, payroll, accounts preparation and month end management accounts. You'll also be involved with the coordination and management of the Finance and Admin team with regards to their daily tasks.


To succeed in the role of Management Accountant you'll need to have experience of a similar role along with, ideally, a relevant qualification such as CIMA. Any knowledge of IFRS15 and IFRS16 will certainly hold you in good stead. You'll also need to have advanced knowledge of Excel and, ideally, experience using Pegasus Opera and CIS.
