The European arm of a US owner operator of Hyperscale Data Centres is looking for a Facilities Technician (electrical bias) for a 1m square foot data centre. You'll be working in the Site Operations team for a 24 x 7 data centre. Working on shift (4 on, 4 off and 12 hours days) you will track and plan maintenance activities, both preventative and corrective. You'll work with a team of other electrical and mechanical-focused engineers performing maintenance and repair for the data centre infrastructure. The business takes their customer requirements for uptime seriously so keeping their facilities maintained to a very high standard to ensure uninterrupted service for their customers is a primary goal, therefore this is a vital role within the organization.
If you enjoy working on critical data centre systems (UPSs, PDUs, Diesel Generators, ATS equipment and Building Controls) or other mission critical facilities such as hospitals or submarines as well as industrial electrical equipment and systems that include power distribution components/wiring, electronic components and lighting systems then this is the role for you.
