The European arm of a US owner operator of Hyperscale Data Centres is looking for a European Compliance Director. This permanent role has been created to support the launch and rapid expansion of the business across Europe - this growth is in part due to acquisition and in part due to new site builds. This position is home based with significant European travel
The Role
As their Compliance Director you'll be responsible for internal and customer compliance as well as operational excellence across all sites / campuses. Your team is ultimately responsible for ensuring that all activities are completed according to relevant legislations, contractual requirements, regulations and good practice to maintain the standards and accreditations currently held. You'll report into the COO, Europe and will own / manage all processes and activities required to achieve the above.

To succeed in the role of Compliance Director you'll need to have significant compliance experience at a global organisation performing auditing and compliance activities along with experience obtaining and maintaining ISO certifications. A working knowledge of GDPR and experience leading complex projects from start to end are also essential. Experience of data centres isn't essential but would hold you in good stead.
