Due to continued investment, this manufacturing business at the cutting edge of technology is searching for the perfect Manufacturing Engineer to join their growing team in Wimborne, Dorset on a permanent basis. This role will be offering £45,000 per annum.


The successful candidate will be awarded with this phenomenal opportunity to work with a true leader on some of the biggest challenges and most advanced technologies in the industry.

The Role

Within the Manufacturing Engineer you will be responsible for:

* Input in product development to ensure products are designed to cost, utilising DFMA
*

Coordinating the completion of a PFMEA and implementation of associated risk reduction activities in line with LCM requirements.
*

Defining manufactured recurring costs at the bid stage, and to seek to achieve the target cost reductions through product development and process improvement.

You'll also ensure all ME Lifecycle Management tska are completed in line with the programme time frames.

You

To succeed within the Manufacturing Engineer role, you'll have experience in a similar position, and you'll ideally have the following skills:

* Machining experience or understanding of machining principles
* Have a mechanical bias
* A depth of experience in driving process improvement

In addition, youwill have experience with working with MRP systems (BoMs, routings, material masters etc) and be available for shift working
