Due to a drive for greater success, this advanced manufacturing business is currently searching for a Procurement Professional to add to their talented, hardworking team in Barrow-in-Furness on a 6-month contract. Striving for innovation and creativity you can ensure no two days will be the same. This role will be offering £23.36 per hour.

The Role

Within the role of Procurement Professional, you'll be responsible for:

* Undertaking and supporting the team in supplier assessment and due diligence activity.
* Planning, controlling, executing and monitoring all in-scope transactional procurement and major subcontracting activity.
* Effectively managing sub-contract change.

In addition, you'll also develop and agree the procurement strategies for individuals assigned areas and lead implementation of plans.

You

To succeed within the role of Procurement Professional, you'll have experience in a similar position, and you'll ideally have the following skills:

* In-depth knowledge of in-scope products and services being managed.
* Knowledge of product nuclear safety and environmental impact.
* Building understanding of suppliers' operation.
