A growing motor accident repair group is looking for a Claims Handler to assist in the growth of the business and to support the requirements of individual vehicle repair centres.

The Role

As a Claims Handler, you'll be responsible for delivering an exceptional experience to both vehicle repair customers and insurance partners, each and every time. Some typical duties of the role will include:

* Handling all customer requirements for vehicle repairs
* Arranging vehicle repair appointments and working with the transport teams to facilitate the collection and delivery of customer vehicles in multiple locations.
* Keeping customers informed throughout the repair
* Communicating at all levels with vehicle repair customers and partners via email, portals or by phone.
* Treating any dissatisfied customers with empathy and understanding to ensure that we can resolve any issues should they arise.

This is a Monday to Friday role and the opening hours of the company are 8am to 6pm and your working hours will fit within this (either starting at 8am or finishing at 6pm). Please note that you will be required to work 1 in 3 Saturdays, 8am to Midday.

To succeed in the role of Claims Handler you'll need to have experience of a previous phone-based customer service role and to be somebody who puts the customer at the heart of everything you do. The hiring organisation prides themselves on their customer service, so it is essential each and every new hire does too. Strong influencing and multi-tasking skills will certainly hold you in good stead.

Package

In return for your skills, you'll receive a salary of £18,000 to £22,000 (possibly a little more for the ideal candidate). In addition, there's other non-tangible benefits such as commitment to your development, both in terms of your skills and career progression.
