JAM recently conducted a survey of 600 people predominantly from the Purchasing, Supply Management and Operations Management professions to find out their thoughts on the state of their industry today.
The results from this survey will enable JAM to keep abreast with the Supply Chain and Logistics professions, in order to continue to provide you, our clients and candidates, with relevant and realistic solutions.
Key Findings
- Most earn a salary of £40,000 or under, despite the 57% having over 10 years’ experience in the sector.
- Over half are unhappy with their salary.
- Despite the skills shortage, 61% claimed their company doesn’t invest enough in the skills of its existing employees.
- A lack of new talent is on the horizon with companies not taking on apprentices or graduates.
