December 20 2011 By Rebecca Ormrod

The deadline for submissions has passed for the biggest awards ceremony in the manufacturing industry…. now all that’s left to do is wait to find out your fate!

The EEF Future Manufacturing Awards 2011 allows the manufacturing industry to shout about their innovations and achievements. Entering the awards highlights the resilience, determination and originality of the UK’s manufacturing industry and is a fantastic opportunity to showcase the industry.

With a variety of awards categories from innovation (sponsored by JAM Recruitment) to enterprise and export, businesses have been able to enter as many categories as they wish in order to recognise success across their company.

The awards also give you the opportunity to be recognised for your innovation and be seen as leading the way in the manufacturing industry.

Regional winners will first be announced at celebration events in November, with the successful businesses from six regions then eligible for national awards at an exciting ceremony in London in January 2012.

JAM Recruitment is proud to be sponsoring the innovation category at the EEF Future of Manufacturing Awards 2011. JAM is about innovation. It’s about finding smarter ways of doing things, about continuously improving. It’s adopting new technologies, ways of communicating and better processes. The fact that innovation underpins all that JAM does puts this particular category in the Future of Manufacturing Awards really close to our hearts.

The awards manufacturing companies will be fighting for within this category are:

  • Innovative Operating Practices Award
  • Innovative People Management Award

If you’re a company that strives to keep learning, come up with new ideas and be creative then you should be in with a good chance! Winning a Future Manufacturing Award can really build your profile, boost morale and impress your customers…

“Winning an award generates fantastic PR opportunities and real business value for regional and national winners” – Mark Swift, Media Relations Manager, EEF

So all that’s left for JAM to say to all of those in the manufacturing industry who have entered the awards is… good luck and keep innovation at the heart of all that you do!
